This complete pattern set for the Girl’s Getaway Quilt includes five patterns containing embroidered panel patterns, and one pattern with piecing instructions to complete the quilt. The six patterns are: Pickup and Trailer; Clawfoot Tub, Girl’s Week Tent; Bicycles and Lace; Lace and Signs, and Assembly. For block 1 Pickup and Trailer (31in x 12-1/2in) what could be more fun than a vintage aqua camp trailer with pink and white striped awnings? Add a vintage pickup, a flower filled window box, and some comfy chairs, and we’re ready to snuggle in for a beautiful glamping weekend. For block 2 Clawfoot Tub (6 3/4in x 8 1/2in), who’s brave enough to shower in an outdoor tub? There’s plenty of privacy, fancy soaps, fluffy towels, a braided rug, not to mention fresh flowers. This is glamping at its finest. For block 3 Girl’s Week Tent (16in x 8-1/2in), you’ll find a night in the forest, a big comfy bed with fancy linens and a down comforter. Your own classy, little hotel room right down to the chandelier. Block 4 Bicycles and Lace (32in x 6in) depicts bicycles with baskets filled with wine and food for a picnic, quilts to spread on the grass, and goodies from a shopping excursion. Block 5 Lace and Signs answers the questions, Where will we go? What will we do? Well… we’ll start off the day at the Orchard Bakery, then ride over to the Hollyhock Quilt Shop and Wild Rose Needlework Shop. Then we’ll spend a few hours at the Red Barn Vintage Show and head to the Farmer’s Market to pick up things for dinner, and stop at the Wine Tasting on the way back to our Glamping spot. Stop for flowers at Sweetheart’s Floral for the dinner table tonight.
